I'm watching "Whose Wedding is it Anyway?" on the style network as I work today... and the featured bride chooses a gorgeous bright red princess style gown.
Twice I had brides in pale pink, but nothing this bold.. has anyone else? I'd love to see pictures!

I was not the photographer for this wedding but I happened to be at the venue. The bride was wearing a black gown. Unique, I must say.

my wedding dress was mostly white, but I had a navy blue train and accents on the dress. I had it made because I had a specific idea of what I wanted.
This is from the bridals Alisha did for me, its small but you can see the jist of it.

Wouldn't it be great not having to deal with a pure white wedding dress when you're shooting?!
Stephanie, your dress looks great with the blue train. I love it!
When I was getting married (a looooooong time ago) I remember looking at an ivory dress with navy blue embroidery on it. Sounds gross but it was beautiful! It was so unusual but I ended up with an ivory dress with goldish piping on it. I've lost my wedding photos

but this is a recent shot of my dress! It's doing well for 15 years old ... as is my marriage!

My bride for this August is wearing red I think. She wouldn't tell me exactly but dropped hints and did say very clearly in front of her fiance that she isn't wearing any shades of white. She is probably one of the fairest skin girls I've met and white would honestly look really bad on her.

My friend is getting married on May 5th and her dress has other colors in it. I cannot post the images just yet, but I will once I get back from Florida. The dress is beautiful!

Be careful what you wish for. This is no joke. She went with my biggest package.

I agree - I think that's that's a kick-ass dress from a photographers perspective - what was the groom wearing?

It's about time for color! When I got married 18 years ago, I had my matron and bridesmaids wear black which was unheard of but did I hear about it from my mother. The following year it caught on.
I think that blue dress is stunning but I agree, it's better without that veil.

Oh absolutely. One of my most beautiful brides. Red satin thing. Her and her mom kinda brought it up at one of our meetings. I was like..."great!"
That was one of the most creative weddings I have shot. Have several wonderful spontaneous photos.
