Hi Everyone,

My name is Ann Hamilton and I've got some friends here (Gene Higa, John Griffin and Jose Villa) and figured why let the boys have their own club? So, here I am!

I'm located in San Francisco (I share a studio with Gene), and have a little pug dog named Bogie. I shoot weddings and dog portraits.

I've met some of you at the OSP event a few months ago, and some in Vegas. I look forward to contributing and getting to know everyone.

My first and only trip to San Fran was back in 2002 with a co-worker (dayjob) for a training class. She had been to SF before and knew I was a photographer. She said one night we needed to go up to the Marin headlands to watch the sun set. So we did -- and who do I run into shooting up there?

My co-worker totally didn't understand why I was so awestruck at just "bumping" into a famous photographer (and chatting w/ him for about 20 minutes) on one of the trails. I thought it was pretty dang cool...
