I am a semi-retired Humanities scholar and new-ish photographer shooting academic conference and disability events for the last two years, in addition to my own travel and personal interest photos. I am a lifelong learner and eager to take in everything I can about technique, composition, lighting and exposure, saturation, texture, detail, and as much as my brain and body can hold. I have been shooting with a Canon 20D which recently died (now at the mercy of Canon repair) and waiting this week for a 5D to take its place.
