Did an engagement session downtown Chattanooga this evening... Such an inspiring place - I want to shoot down there more! A lot of what we did was candid style images, but this particular image stuck out... Simple, straight forward...

WOW! That's another great shot! You guys are getting some awesome shots lately! That shot REALLY tells the story of who that couple is.

(it's really funny, everytime I see one of your incredible images I always think about that terrible photographer you guys had at your wedding and how it's awesome you guys are giving people such a BETTER experience than that!) I really respect that! You guys have such a cool business!

WAY TO GO!!! thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif thumbsup.gif

I really like the shot, pose, and colors. They all come together beautifully here. Good stuff. I can't wait to see more. :-)

Great shot, love the colors.

Very nice thumbsup.gif! How did you make the palette look that way? Did you de-saturate to a specific level, or did you throw a few other things into the mix? It kind of looks de-saturated but with a bit of kick to it.

Beautiful work. You guys are consistantly producing amazing images. This is no exception. Great job! thumbsup.gif

Peter, check out my other post under "engagement pics" and the explanation as to how I worked this image is there! It works great! It's a combination of Nitorix and a personal action inspired by another forum member...

An effect that I have really come to enjoy lately is a combination of the Lomos Scripts #1 and then applying the "old" look that Cameron Ingalls shared with us recently in his engagement pics. I've created an action for "old" that runs like this:

Saturation: -50
Photo Filter (under image and adjustments):
Double click on the color and create the following color:
Hue - 35, Saturation - 45, Brightness - 95
Click "ok" and then adjust the density to 25%

Looks great!

I would LOVE to apply that to some Senior Photos of Goth Kids. In Downtown STL where the buildings are run-down and weathered. I'm totally thinking Wednesday of the Munsters- or was it Adams family? You could take this effect and run with it to the extreme.
