I was just sitting here working on leads and thinking... Geeeeezzzz there has to be an easier way. blink.gif

What is everyone else doing.
What about your follow-ups. When and how are they getting done.

Does anyone have software specifically designed for a studio business?

I do track my leads but since most (if not all) my leads come from my website I just keep the email and periodically refer back to see if I should contact them again. I know in sales you should always follow up multiple times with leads, but in this industry I tend to think that if the bride really likes your work you want have to keep contacting them. Maybe that's the wrong way to look at it. I reply within hours (max 24 hrs) to all my leads in email (or call) and then after I send them the information requested I will sometimes follow up just to make sure they got it, but that's about it.

I use a program called Daylite for Mac. The PC equivalent is called ACT. It's a pretty sweet set up but takes a bit of a commitment to get rolling. Very helpful. I think you can track in Quickbooks too. Many systems can work. The issue is picking one and sticking to it.

We use emails to touch base with all potential clients, once we receive all contact info. we add this & all appointments to Outlook & we continue to keep in contact via phone or email. thumbsup.gif
