Sweetest couple, but the wedding was chaotic.



As I arrived at the church, the organizer listed rules to a point where it got ridiculous. I wasnt allowed ANYWHERE but the very back of the church, and there was no balcony (small church). On top of that the minister forgot to tell people to sit back down so everyone stood pretty much through the whole ceremony and I couldnt even shoot over the heads. I was also not allowed to use flash, which is fine, however the rule was not given to the guest, so everyone was firing their flashes during the ceremony and I wasnt allowed to. It SUCKED. The reception was just as chaotic in other areas.



The Formals were VERY pressed in time and it was also very chilly out. I did the best I could I guess

I have never photographed a wedding where I was allowed to be anywhere except the back of the church with no flash so I feel your pain. And yes - it is crazy that the guests are allowed to use flash.

Did she put blue contacts in?? If that's PS, I'd suggest that you enhance her eyes closer to her natural, beautiful blue-green color.

I photoshopped her eyes, however they changed color, sometimes green, sometimes blue... in this particular one they were blue and I just enhanced it a bit to take the grey away and make it more vibrant. Maybe too much?

i had a wedding last summer that during the ceremony the minister made an announcement that there was to be no photography.

no one listened. i felt like i got screwed over. i snuck a few shots in, but only when i was sure the minister wasn't looking. i didn't want to get yelled at!

oh man, I had a wedding in October where the minister forgot to tell everyone to sit down. It was really hard to get the unity candle shot without getting everyone's heads in the way. I think you did a great job, especially considering the circumstances.

Wow, that's a really tough situation (both the ceremony and the rest of the day). Judging from the shots it looked like you did okay though!

From your images, you could never tell all those things happened!
