We gotta get you some new pricing. lol It's not really in anyone's best interest for you to book this wedding at $1100 with everything included - yours because it's less money than you should be getting, ours because it totally trashes your area's market for anything but shoot-to-burn.
Let's talk sometime!
M
After this current season, my prices will increase quite a bit. When they do I'm doing the whole mail out, marketing myself a lot better, plan. =o)
I just got my 15th booking for this year, can't wait!
But I didn't explain my post that well. I start at 600.00 for 5 hours. 800 for 7, and 1,100 for 10 hours. My highest package is 1,500, which is the same as the 10 hour package below it, but includes a 2 hour bridal session.
THEN DVD's are 500.00 for the first, and 250.00 for any additional copies.
Not counting reprints, enlargements, etc. Which are all low price as well, but hey... I am in a college town, and that's my market right now. I'm slowly working my way up. Only the 2nd year in business.
But I will give you a call one day, and we can discuss some ideas I have. I want to offer albums and I DO want to be paid better upfront. So I welcome the advice.
Her total price would be around 2,100 dollars for me, plus travel expenses. =o) If she wanted everything, then an album is more.
