We're shooting the heart Gallery kiddos on April 10th & 17th from 5-7 PM in Chattanooga. I have ONE volunteer to help so far. If anyone else can spare a couple of hours on either or both days it would be greatly apprieciated. Thanks!!!

Awesome! We'll designate a location (typically a local park) and you just show up and shoot. Last year we spent about 10-15 minutes with each child. The goal is to end up with at least 3 really good shots of each child. You can then take your files home, edit them, and send me 3-5 shots of each child to be turned in (we usually need them back within a week of the shoot) or you can download them onsite & Jacon Connell usually edits the bulk of them for us. You do get credit for the shots you take when they're displayed, either way. We'd love to have you! We had a fun group of kids last year.

What type of photos do you need for this? Just action of the kids having fun or something more on the formal side? I think I might be free if you still need volunteers.

The kids typically range in age from about 8 to 17. Foster kids don't usually reach adoptable status before 8. I'll email you.





AWESOME! Thanks Cat! I'll let you know! We're trying to do as many as possible on the 10th and using the 17th as a makeup day so I'm not 100% sure how many kids we'll have that day.

We do CNY Heart Gallery and for those who haven't done one, if you can help Mel out, do it. This is a great cause, we learned so much about our kid (they gave us one - we'll do more soon).

If you're on the fence, do it. You won't regret it.

They need at least one headshot - since they're using the images to find parents for these children they should showcase thier personality but also show what they look like. We'd love to have you volunteer. Just email me at melodyhood @ gmail dot com.

I am interested in helping out on the 17th. I cant make it to the 10th but I think the 17th will work out. I am going to put it on my calendar either way.
