Kim A.
Just wanted to share a few from my recent wedding at Kualoa Ranch on the east side of Oahu. C&C welcome as always:)

I wish I hadn't cut her dress off in this one..sad.gif

I still covet your location! I miss beaches soooo much, Kim. you're killin' us!

C/C the shots - a little too flat and a little too dingy for my personal liking, but what a LOCATION. And a great looking couple. Their personalities come out soooo well.

Keep posting!

Thanks Eric..It was a beautiful location. What would you suggest..bumping up the contrast, saturation? Or are they not fixable? Maybe I need to PP them diferently. I seem to be having a problem when I'm resizing for the web...they look much brighter and more contrasty originally. Oh well..thanks for the comments.smile.gif Kim

hey kim, you got some really beautiful shots there. however most of the shots I see where mostly at a standing position (being too safe). Assuming you're shooting digital feel free to shoot from different angles from the ground, to the left, to the right, "jus shoot anykine whereva you like" especially with that wide angle. your images will be a bit more dramatic.

don't you just love kualoa ranch? i love that place! and if you ever get a chance to shoot moilii garden (below - next to the fish pond), you'll love that place even better. smile.gif

BTW, you got the same initials as my wife, Kim A. hehehe..

Aloha!

Yeah-

I'd have some fun with contrast and saturation and color balance. Maybe a little vingetting to the edges of a few. Make them POP.

I don't know if you use Podcasts (I love them). there's a photoshop Quicktips and this last one (#42 if you want to search for it on iTunes), but it has a photo effect that I do a lot. He calls it THE LOOK. Just a way to make images really stand out. I think it would give the WOW factor to your shots.

I love your work! I hope I didn't sound too abrasive in my last post. smile.gif
