Okay, so I'm not sure what date her wedding is (sent her an email asking but no reply yet) but there's a bride who needs a photographer in the Philly area (Scranton, specifically, I do believe). She has a Rebel XT herself and loves photography, it's really important to them to find an awesome photographer...problem? She and her FH are paying for most of the wedding themselves and really can't afford more than $1200.

So! Can you help this fair maiden? Please comment and I'll gladly pass the information along.

Scranton is about 2.5-3 hours from Philly..you may find someone if you put Scranton in the thread title. I don't really know any philly photographers that will travel to scranton for $1200 but I could be wrong but there may be some Pennsylvania, NEw York and Jersey photographers closer. Best of luck....

Yeah, that's pretty far from Philly and definitely low on the Philly price-end. Way low. Scranton is near the NY border in the Poconos area.

yea, I think I live closer to Scranton than Philly people. that budget is about 1/3 what I would charge for travel and coverage. however if the wedding is like in 2 or 3 weeks I would make an exception.

If the couple is interested in an inexperienced photographer, I would be more than happy to travel to Scranton - or where ever.
