TK Maxx hackers stole millions of credit card details

By Stephen Foley in New York. Shoppers at the discount chain TK Maxx in the UK have unwittingly been caught up in the biggest ever credit card security breach, where hackers stole details of at least 45.7 million customers' accounts.

Didn't this happen a few months ago with Winners (a Canadian subsidiary of TJ Maxx)? I know my visa cards were re-issued because of the security breech here in Canada. I wonder if it is the same problem, or if they were hit twice.


Edit: I read the article smile.gif. It was part of the same security issue that took place over about an 18 month period. A good reminder to watch your credit cards & credit history.
