I am looking to venture out into the commercial photography world and work with contruction companies and a pr firm so I am looking to have a simpler card and something that is not as specific for weddings and families.

Our normal name of our company is shutter love studio and to me that sounds too wedding, etc. so for this we were planning on doing a small spin and calling it sls photography. I just started designing a couple new business cards for it today here are the first 4 drafts, I am thinking simpler, yet professional.

Let me know what you think. Tell me which one you like best and what you would change.

'freelance photographer' makes you sound amateur, I'd just put 'photographer'. imho.

i like #3 the best, too

I agree, Once I looked at it I was thinking about changing it to just photographer or maybe professional photographer.

Thanks

I really like 3 and 4 but i must say I like 4 the best. And i'd definately agree that you should go with "Photographer" or "Professional Photographer".

Cheers!

Maybe add your website address? Can you use your name as the title of your business?
I like the color selection.

Well I guess the reason we never used our name as the business name is that I will be changing my name come September when I get married and I just thought it would be easier to keep a business name. I think my new name wouldn't be too bad but since it isn't my name yet I didn't want to use it.

My name will be Carli Felix in September (kind of different since I have been a Smith my whole life, but different is good)

That's a GREAT name! So artsy! My .02: get rid of the email address and replace it with a Web site address, and then make sure the Web site clearly shows all the ways to contact you: phone, geographic location, e-mail.

Next, consider a different font. Scriptina/Zapfino is so yesterday. (I know this because your logo looks pretty much exactly like mine looked "yesterday," not that mine is anything close to perfect now. Still working on it.)

I love Carli Felix as a business name! You might want to go with Carli Felix - Photographer.

#3 hands down. I would lose the "freelance photographer" - and not put any "title" for yourself at all -- I would also just put your web address and not and email address. smile.gif
