Okay, so I'm actually the one looking. Sorry.

Apparently there are folks who like to rent out their homes, rooms, or couches to travelers around Europe. If ANYONE knows ANYONE who does this or is willing to entertain the idea, I think it can be a mutually beneficial endeavor.

I've always wanted to spend time with locals in Europe and now that I'm going there, most of those whom I might have spent time with are actually gonna be away. Bad timing, huh? Anyway, I'm leaving the US on April 3rd and am looking for even just a piece of floor during the second half of my trip. Here's how it looks.

I'm going to be in:

Geneva, Switzerland (April 14th)
Milan, Italy
Venice
Bologna (April 19th)
Barcelona, Spain
San Sebastian


Anyone with info, please e-m me and I'll quickly respond. Really excited about the prospect of hooking up with some good local peeps.

Oh cool. That's what I'm talking about. Thanks, Adam. I'm sure there are others who have similar kinds of situations. I've been told that there are folks who stand outside of train stations with signs showing their space for rent. Surely there are some OSPers who know of some trustworthy ones.

Great choice of cities. Barcelona is remarkable and Bologna is one of Larry's favorite cities in Italy. While in Bologna you might try to get to Ravenna to see the remarkable Frescoes.
