Rob and Lauren
So we've jumped into the ring and started our first wild season as wedding photogs. This is our 4th wedding, having shot two for our adoptive East Indian family, and one for actual family. It was a huge crazy blur and pretty fast paced but we had fun and learned lots. Here's a bit of what we got!

Cheers guys!

P.S. We didn't do the "girls wearing the guys jackets" shot to be cute. Heck no! It was actually just pretty chilly out. Ah, March in Canada.....

Love them all Lauren. Can't wait to see how big you guys hit it here in Edmonton. You're pushing us all to be better!
Hope
Whoa! I was going to tell you which one was my favorite, but they're all too damned good to choose just one. I don't know if I should be congratulating you on your first purely-business wedding or the couple for having the foresight to hire you. biggrin.gif

I'm shooting my first wedding this May for a friend. Care to share any advice for first-timers? Besides, "Be awesome like us"? tongue.gif

It never stops being exiciting does it? I have my fourth non family/friend wedding booked for June 2nd and I am so excited about the others booked for later this year. There is just a high about it all isn't there?

I would love to choose a favorite but I am in the same boat. I like them all. I think my most fun award goes to the pic with the bride and bridesmaids wearing the guy's jackets. I love their expressions!

Hey friends!!!! Thanks for all the comments. Here's my lovely personal responses:

Chris - dude, we're all going to hit it big here together! I'm getting really pumped for you to go to Mexico so we can see the pictures, lol!

Hope - Thanks for the wonderfully kind words! My advice would be to take shots of everything that happens, keep your eyes open and try to stay calm even though its crazy! And also spend hours looking over all the great OSPers work here to get inspiration. You'll do smashingly!

Gabe - Thanks friend! Maybe we'll come down to Calgary to keep you company wink.gif Stay warm!

Mike - Many thanks!

Candice - I certainly hope it never stops being exciting! This was the first wedding where I wasn't horribly nervous so that was a bonus! I told the group to give me "attitude" and that's what I got, it was hilarious!

Marie - Thanks!

Jamie - Also thanks!

Judy - Hehe, go team Canada! I dunno, Canada seems to breed some great teams!!

JaNae - Cheers, thanks!

Eric - Huge thanks! Still working on keeping my editing consistent, I get too experimenty!!! lol

Thanks again guys!

Hey Gabe,
I did not realize you were a member here as well. I've been an occasional lurker of your site.

The funny thing about "competition" up here, is that Rob & Lauren, Lloyd Yoon, myself and a couple of other locals have been getting together regularly for the past couple of months, and even sending referrals each other's way. So, it is more of an OSP spirit amongst our group, than competitive.

That being said, I am still going to be pulling out all the stops at my next event to try and knock their socks off when they see it. haha.

Rob and Lauren are incredible people, and I'm happy to consider them friends. It's much better that way!

PS, I hear they shoot down in Calgary once in awhile. wink.gif Better get to work. hehe.

Rob and Lauren - Awesome shots! I love them, and it's nice to recognize the locations used wink.gif

And also, it's thanks to your blog I found this site, so thanks! smile.gif
