I am new to the business but just recently did some portfolio work for an aspiring model. I LOVED it, so I was wondering if modeling agencies have "lists" of photographers they reccommend or how I could get into doing more of these types of clients??? and.... how do I get on these photographers lists??? (I live in the midwest if that makes a difference)

Thanks so much! You guys are always so helpful!

generally agencies do keep lists of people they like working with, I have some friends in chicago who do it alot. The hard part is they will want you to do a few jobs for free and then will pay you very little if they decide to use you. To get on the list get together a really great book of fashion beauty type stuff and set up meetings with the print bookers at the agencies or someone who is involved with new talent. The key is to have a great book so it looks like you don't need the work, then they want you.
