So I just got in my in box DJ's email with all the latest stuff. There's a free upgrade for ShowIt Web Pro. If I already have the beta 2.5, do I need to upgrade?
What do you guys think?

If it takes even 2 minutes of my time unnecessarily, then it's not painless. I hate computer stuff. (Cuz nothing is evuh painless and nothing evuh takes only 2 minutes.)
I thought it was worthwhile...simple enough to install -- grab your reg code because you'll have to punch it in again. It has some interface and 'look' tweaks that take it up a notch. The dvd purchase options are in there but not active yet.

The email says ShowIt DVD is being showcased this week at wppi for osp'ers.
See, it's the "grab the reg code" thing that's going make this take me longer than 2 minutes!!
Probably have to do this again when the DVD thing is active? Please say it ain't so.
for what its worth, I've only put in my reg code once, when I first got it. I didn't need it for 2.5 beta or 2.5 pro. But who knows. All it took was to download, click install, and that was it.

Anyone know if we're supposed to remove our 2.0 versions before we install the 2.5?

At least on my Mac, it just installed alongside, in the Applications folder. I deleted the old version. Didn't have to type the reg number or anything.
This was simple for me (PC user) to do, just click the link on the newsletter, and it brings you right to the site. Enter your email and download. Took just a few moments. The pro version is awesome, with some new music too!

I guess I'm ignorant...but I downloaded 2.5 when DJ did the "soft release" last week. Have there been more upgrades since then? Do I need to download one more time?

I'm betting that if yours just says "pro" and not "beta" then you're fine.
