I'm curious how you get the animation of your avatar to make a smooth transition like it does..... is this something that can be done in photoshop?

I'm working on an email logo and would like to do something that animates smoothly like that.

I'm not David, but I'm pretty sure he does that in Flash.

Maybe he'll give us more details though....

Yea...it's flash and that'd be really cool to be able to put that in an email but I know a lot of email programs block flash content b/c of its ability to do bad stuff to people's computers. Cameron posted up a pretty sweet .gif file that might allow you to do what you're wanting to. click here.
