So, I know this may be a silly question and all, considering David Jay has an awsome sldeshow program already (which I have) but I need one that I can use to burn onto a DVD for my clients. I am also wondering if anyone can refer any good "album creator programs"? What is everybody else using in terms of slideshows and album stuff? Can't wait to hear your responses!... smile.gif

Hi Christine,

For DVD slideshows I would recommend Proshow Gold if you are on a PC. If using a mac you can use iMovie/iDVD. There are other great programs out there but I don't know too much about them, so maybe someone else can chime in. Also, DJ's software now allows you to order a DVD slideshow without having to do any of the work, so you might want to look into that as well.

For creating photo albums I HIGHLY recommend using Indesign. Kevin Swan has an absolutely AWSOME video tutorial on using the program to design albums....check it out:

Good luck!

Which platform (Windows or Mac) do you use?
David from Puerto Rico
For MAc you may want to try Fotomagico, It is getting rave reviews everywhere and you can burn HD,DVD, Ipod, etc. They just came out with a new version and you can try it for free.

iPhoto is ok and iDVD can do slide shows, specially if you are using Aperture. When you open iDVD you can see your Aperture library.

On a PC, I think ProShow Producer is one of the best. I don't care much for its DVD buring feature and I use Adobe Encore to do my DVD and menus.

Showitweb is exactly for that, the web, but the new version 2.5 has a feature that you can have Dj make a DVD for you. You may want to check that also.
