my pal needs some good ole' fashioned OSP lovin' mojo!

She's had a crappy month or more of just crud going bad again and again and again.

Here's the Cliffs Notes version:

1) Her Godfather died
2) A dear lifelong friend died
3) I'm shooing a red carpet event in LA, and the organizers told me I could MOST LIKELY (they said 95% sure) I could bring a 2nd shooter. Melody bought a plane ticket. The event sold out and then some, and they told me I couldn't bring a 2nd shooter cuz they had to make room for more celebs. This event is the same week as the La Cour workshop she was dying to go to, but instead she bought the plane ticket to come out here, then the La Cour workshop sold out, the Thirst Relief auction for a slot went sky high, and she's SOL.
4) Her hard drive crashed last month and she lost a ton of data.
then..
5) Someone stole her Treo from her car today when she ran into a convenience store for 2 minutes to buy her daughter an icee. She hadn't synced her Treo to the NEW hard drive. The sync'd data was lost in the hard drive crash of #4 above, so all the contacts in her treo are lost.

There are so many more little things, but those are a good cross-section.

How about a TREO THEIF burning/smashing/breaking party???? I know she'd be into that. You can duct tape your treo to his forehead (or any body part Melody chooses), and Melody can commence with the Treo burning/smashing/breaking!

Ain't no way Melody's smashing up her new pretty project (red) treo she just bought today! (I tried to convice her to just buy something cheap and wait for an iPhone)

The theif on the other hand... he better hope Melody never crosses his path!

I went through a month of garbage earlier this year, and I PROMISE you it will get better. Sometimes the universe tests us in ways we don't understand at the time to see how persistent or strong we really are.....and then something magical will happen that will make it all worth while.

I will keep pushing positive thoughts your way until you can post yourself that there's been a turnaround!

Awww, thanks for the hugs guys. It's been a crappy month but I'm *hoping* some good karma will eventually catch up to me. I've booked some great weddings and made some great new friends & I have all of you guys Thanks for the support! My Treo can be replaced and my contacts can be restored. Life is what's important and I still have that and some fabulous friends including you guys at OSP. I love you guys
