I currently have 2 jobs in the studio being shot simultaneously!

The big news is....

I'm not having to shoot BOTH of them.

The beauty of having another person here to help.

Yes! This is big for me. I've always been a lone shooter or someone's second. Now I am moving to get other people in here shooting non music related jobs and I have the space to do it.

It has taken over a year to get to today's goal.

Ok. Had to scream and eShout a bit. As you were.

The two jobs were a headshot session and a jewelry shoot.

Once we got the lighting set up for the jewelry, I handed that job off to Erik.



It looked something like this...



I took the headshot session that was on the books for the same time slot.



One I've gotten a pretty good industry standard headshot, I like to make images for myself and my client. Images that won't go out as a headshot but will be something for my book and something special for my client. Just as the sun was bidding us farewell for the day, I shot this...



I've always loved the idea of having associate shooters. I've learned that from watching many of you full time wedding photographers. I have wanted to add that business model to the diverse amount of subjects I have been shooting lately and today was the first go at it and it was very successful.

Erik got to make extra money, I got to complete two jobs in one day that would normally require me to book them on separate days. So I got one day back to my schedule. Then I get to hand Erik all of the post production duties on the two jobs. That adds yet another day back to me. 2 days free on the schedule is an amazing amount of time for me lately.
