Full Version: Custom timing without music
Can Showit do custom timing on slides without any music? I haven't tried it yet. I'm using showit for my splash page but am thinking of dropping the music since it takes too long to load and Showit can't stream music.

absolutely. showit has a few options:
1. use a template (easiest)
2. choose music, and choose how many seconds for each photo/transition
3. choose music, and choose "fit to song" (which just divides the number of photos into the length of the song, so that it takes the whole time...it doesn't synch up with a beat)
4. customize your timing. just listen to the music, and move the slidebar thingys around by hand to what you want. (i normally end up doing this)
so that 4th one will work without music.

I don't know, #4 sounds awfully technical. Them slidebar thingsy! Thanks, I'll give that a try tonight.
