I want to try and drop some pricing postcards at a few local shops/salons to promote my senior portraits. I'm trying to figure out the best way to present myself to them, and also what (if anything) do you offer to vendors that display your cards? I'm not offering them money, but I was thinking of shooting merchandise, their families, whatever for free. I don't know, any help would be awesome! Thanks in advance

One I would try, is making sure you target places that your preferred client will go to. Then, try to get some of their business cards and hand them out to your clients. For example, if you go to a tanning salon or something that a lot of high school students go to, ask for some of their cards to pass out. I've never been turned down, when I do this because you are helping them out too.
