Full Version: First Engagement shoot...

Rich Smith
I've shot a couple of what would be termed "engagement shoots" with people that I know but I've never done a shoot by myself with complete strangers. So when I heard from a co-worker that a guy he knows just got engaged, I offered to do an e-session so I can get in some practice. And it was my very first photoshoot totally by myself. I usually have the masters around (Matt Dunmore or the Holritz's) or my wife. So... I felt it went really well! Here's a few shots...

We all had a great time! Can't wait until my next e-session. It's like a challenge each time to connect with each couple and make them feel as comfortable as possible.

Wow Rich, just wow. Those images are incredible, so naturally edited but with vivid color and the couple looks like they're having a great time. Also i checked out your blog and just love the shot you have with the daffodils(sp) in the fore ground with the couple out of focus in the background. You have some incredible work. Fantastic job. Can't wait to see more!

Very nice for your first with "strangers"!! smile.gif

I like all but #4.... #4 looks like they both have a huge metallic object growing out of their heads. smile.gif
