This is a really random question to be asking, but I'm wondering if there is anyone out there that might know something...

Poor Amber is still using a PC (we'll be switching her to a Mac ASAP!). It is currently able to access AIM and get email, but not get on the internet ("unable to access the internet").

Any idea on what setting(s) I need to tweak so that gets fixed? She's currently using a Verizon Wireless card to connect.

Thanks!

Was it working before? What is she wireless to (e.g. base station, wireless modem, etc.)?

If email and AIM work then it's not the wireless connection nor "the internet" uplink. So most likely it's a browser issue or a recently installed up updated security suite trying to be helpful. smile.gif Is she using IE or Firefox or AOL (a.k.a. IE) or...?

Answer that and we'll go from there.

i think we narrowed it to a Norton issue. she can't get into the norton suite at all. cant disable it, can't enable it.
