Ok, I am confused again. I thought I did everything right. Then I came back to this post to read it again. When I go and look at the technorati site, it says I don't have any favorites. Do I have to add them one by one? Did I not add them right? I do have them linked on my site... someone please help! I want to do this right.

Yes, you have to add 1 by 1.

I don't know about anyone else, but my Google Page Rank recently jumped from 3 to 4! I have no idea if it has anything to do with this blogroll, but I haven't really been doing anything else for SEO, so I suspect it does.

I need to catch up on round two yet but can you fix mine too Matt? My last name has a capital M DiMeo, not Dimeo and is showing up on everyone's sites with out it. Everyone does it though because of the all lowercase html address.

Ok, some how I have been out of the loop and overlooked this thread. I'm just catching up now. I'm not quite sure I understand how all this works, but I signed up for Technorati and I added everyone from round 1 and 2 on my blog. Matt, can you take a look and let me know if things look right on my blog?

And can you explain, what is a ping?

And if I'm already linked by a lot of people, do I have to go through and request them all as faves, or does their link mean I'm already a fave? I'm so confused by what this whole Technorati thing is anyways. Can you explain the Techonorati for Dummies synopsis of it?

Why did you post this?

Technorati organizes & ranks blog. Better ranks on there lead to better ranks everywhere.

The point of the blogroll is to increase your rank on technorati thus increasing your google rank thus making the stuff you post about more likely to get to the top of Google/MSN/Yahoo than if you're not on the blogroll.

The point of the thread is to frustrate those who have to read it.
