I'm interested in seeing those that have posted their slideshows on their website. How it looks, etc. as I am thinking of buying SHowIt. Before I buy it, I'd just like to see how a few more look.

thanks in advance,

Jen

OK, I just downloaded the free trial with the watermarks so I could give it a shot, and it was soooo easy to make!! I loved it! Now I just gotta figure out if I can send this to my web designer. I don't do any of my own website editing, everything has to go through her. Looks like tons of files that I would have to send her though...hmmm we shall see if she thinks it would work! I hope so, because this is a really cool item and I think I'd like to buy it.

I don't have mine up anymore since I changed to a bludomain in Christmas, but I did like it, and I don't remember it being too hard. I remembered having to embed some code somewhere, but a friend helped me with that. When I had mine up, I did a slideshow with words and images. I had quite a few comments on it from potential clients. Actually, now that I think about it, I bought it just for the purpose of being able to show clients slideshows and put one on my website. I never liked my pix2exe slideshows having to be downloaded. I thought the Showit made it all seem more seamless.

It was the couple's first dance song...and they provided it for me.

Thanks for the compliment!

I am a huge Showit fan. I do slideshows with it at receptions and am moving all of my proofing on site to it shortly. I currently use it for my opening page on my site and my portfolio pages.

I only got it myself yesterday so have only had a quick play with it so far and was working out the best settings for my blog initially but I am well impressed with it and am gonna spend some time creating new templates this week which after a quick play yesterday looks very easy ... so long as my timings good smile.gif

Really looking forward to using this at weddings we have this year, not quite sure how were gonna handle the logistics of it yet as we shoot raw but maybe we will shoto raw + jpg for the first few and see how it goes.

Sample with some random photos +std music and template, fits nicely into blogs though !

Jen, when I saw your post, I was hesitating whether or not I should post up my slideshow. After seeing many other OSPer's slideshows, my falls pale in comparison.

These are photos of my sister-in-law whom was super awesome flying from Philly to California just to be my model.

Now having said that, don't expect too much from my slideshow...

The program; however, is the BOMB as i'm sure you've already know.

Here goes.... My First Slideshow

P.S. my site is still work in progress.. sad.gif
