feelin behind? rushed? or just hate to edit? or all the above?

I dont mind editing, but I am always feeling like my family is competing with my computer for attention! So, DJ was saying he pays someone to edit his photos and I was like "I can breath at that idea!!!!_ so, the search is on!

I'm a dork, I actually love to edit. But unfortunately I don't have time to take on someone else's workload too. I was just thinking today too that I spend too much time with my computer and need more "life beyond the computer" time. I say that as I sit here typing more and cruising OSP.

EDIT: Ok, I just realized my "I love to edit" comment might be taken the wrong way here on OSP. I don't mean THAT kind of edit. Not until I'm married.

i like editing cause it's almost a competition to see how fast i can do the next wedding.

I think this is exactly what DJ kicked Rick Rosen off the board for. It's not really appropriate to try to sell something on someone else's thread, especially when the original comment had nothing to do with actions.

I personally have to disagree.

She says she hates editing. She's willing to pay someone to do it. So why is making a suggestion for a program that lets her setup her photos to get simple edits that could in the end really save her some cash. I think you should look how action runner works. You drop the images into the folder that has a certain action performed on them (different folder for different action) and then you run it. Instead of another person editing her images she has the computer do it and she gets to choose what images would look best with which effect.

I can agree that at first this seems out of place but when you see what it does and what she's asking for... it does fit.

However it is up to Melissa to decide if it's really out of place, not you or I.

Is there some secret "thou shalt not do" list somewhere that I missed?
