Awwwww... anything with a dog and a pink wall, you know I'm going to love! Cool shots!

How ADORABLE! Isn't it fun to learn the one light system? I LOVE it and I always thought I was a devout "natural light shooter."

You're gonna get the shaking finger smiley from JT for posting up those big files though. (He got me already.)

That second one is priceless!!!! Love the new Light!!

Those are so precious!! But where are the shades? I think he's got a little attitude going on because he misses me so much!! tongue.gif He thinks your holdin' out on him.

Yea, there's gonna' be a whole lotta' shakin' goin' on because of those MASSIVE images! Check your dimensions. Yikes!!

And get me a great shot like we talked about. Maybe shoot a bunch during practice and let me choose one.

Um, all I can think is FHEO on that first comment.

Yes, on the first question; of course. wink.gif

I BELIEVE you (but only because I KNOW you wouldn't lie to me). Was nervous at first because of all the expenses with my new camera and WPPI but I got the green light on spending more $$$. Schweet!

What light and gear did you get?
What does Zach recommend?

sorry about the big files - i'll fix 'em tonight - or just delete them. these were totally for fun.

ZACK IS AMAZING! in this thread he lists what he suggests. i pretty much bought exactly what was suggested. (two sets - for me and my biz assoc)

and i bought it through Zack b&h affialiate here:

i have a 580ex flash, so the paramount miniphone to hot shoe sync cord is what you need to make that work with the pocket wizards. ( i can't believe i know what that means) it's a little tricky. make sure you jam that baby on (without breaking anything). but then it fires away!

the avenger stand, the convertible umbrella and the umbrella bracket

at first i thought something was missing - but you have to take out a little screw from the pocket wizard to attach it to the bracket. i'm so new to this!
now i need to get a litle container for all these little gizmos - i loose lens caps like crazy, so i can only imagine what it will be like to keep track of all of this stuff!

if you have a chance to go to a one light, DO NOT MISS IT!

Michelle
Awww. Those are so cute.
Having fun with the new gear!

One light was amazing.

Well, I just got off the phone with Robin and she said that the pup is dreaming. Well, since I know Alexander just thinks the world of me (he loves settling into my lap and resting peacefully), I insisted that the little guy was dreaming of ME. You know, throwin' his toys, faking him out, wrestling joyfully on the floor. Robin believes he's dreaming of the rabbits outside the window.

So, what do you folks think? Me, or those silly rabbits? laughing.gif

I think I am offended. I am not sure photos of a naked dog are appropriate for this forum.

Where's DJ...

Awww, he's such a cute little guy! My dogs and kitties are probably my favorite subjects. They are so expressive... I just love them so much, and I love photographing them! smile.gif

Great job Robin! I just ordered that Paramount hotshoe to PW cord. I took it out of the package and was shocked for a second that there wasn't a 1/4" thread on the bottom. "Oh no! I told people to buy this thing! Crap!" Then I got that screw out of there and my next thought was, "This looks bigger than a 1/4" screw."

Finally I was at ease when I got it all apart.

Ya'll..... Robin can say all she wants but it was HER that changed lives in Pittsburgh. At least for me. I'm gonna make another post about that.

Great job with Alexander! The first one is my favorite!

Cheers,
Zack
