hey check out this. I thought it was pretty cool and definetly made me have a higher respect for Sarah McLachlan, and I was already a huge fan.

Wow. That's a big eye opener for me - now I've seen a totally different perspective on this world and how we take things for granted, such as where our money goes. Thanks for sharing.

Chris: THANK YOU for posting that. The film is incredibly powerful and so unbelievable pertinent to all of our lives. I sent the link on to everyone I know (not that many people, unfortunately, but maybe they have a lot of friends!).

...okay, I don't want to get too deep here or anything, but within minutes of sending out the email I mentioned (short blurb + the link to the movie), something Megan and I have been praying about pretty much nonstop for the past 3 weeks was finally reconciled. In fact, it was one of the single most stressful challenges we have had in the past few years and it turned out 100 times better than we could have imagined.
So Chris, thank you thank you thank you thank you. And man, does prayer ever work!

Hey Chris...
I also want to thank you. That was very powerful. I'm such a softie I swear...the images of those kids made me cry. Thanks for reminding all of us how lucky we truly are.
In awe...

That's awesome Chris!
We all might have an opportunity to give a little bit in the near future...there's a cool new program that a guy I met at PIDE is working on. I'll tell you more about it as it develops.
Cheers,

Yeah, not only was I amazed at how much it actually costs to do a music video, but it is a harsh reminder as well of the life some people live.
I think the hardest one for me was that women who works 16 hour days so she can make the $200 A YEAR to send her child to school!! YIKES! I charge that much just to shoot a reherasl dinner! Obviously we are in different cirumstances, but it's a good reminder "to whom much is given, much is indeed expected."

Wow, what a wakeup call that is.
Here I am complaining about how much I am getting paid. I need to be greatful.
I worry too much about my business and the funds and the Lord says that if he watches the sparrow and clothes lilies of the field, then I'm taken care of too.
Thanks, guys for putting into perpective.

Not to redirect the conversation from the more appropriate topic of appreciating what we have and understanding how much of the world lives around us, but I just gotta add
Sarah McLachlan Rocks!

She's by FAR my favorite musician of all time (that includes the 400s BC). I saw her Worlds On Fire concert here in Fresno. ROCKED. Made me wish I had taken someone special, tho, and not just a bunch of friends...
