Eric,

I use SSP for my website. For both the home page and the portfolio page. I also use their management tool, SSP Director to manage all of this. I have some experience with Flash, so I'm pretty comfortable tweaking things here and there.

It looks good Eric.

Jan, can you burn that to a DVD? Is it easy to use?

WOW, thank you Lauren.

Eric, if you have any questions about slideshow pro, I can answer them.
It is great slideshow component. You have to have Macromedia Flash in order to use it, since it is a component and all settings have to be set in Flash. Then you compile in into swf flash object and it is ready to use. As soon as you created slideshow with all the settings you like, you can add/remove images by editing xml file. You don't have to recompile it again. On my web site I have a slideshow running randomly a bunch of images with music. Then on my recent page I have another slideshow just with different settings showing my recent weddings. If you want to manage a lot of gelleries I would recommend to get a Slideshow Director. They both are $25. It is very easy to use and it is a great value for the money. The developer just quit his main job to work full time on slideshow pro. He is a great guy! Talked to him several times.

Jose, as far as I know, it is web only tool. I guess it can be converted to mp2 format for DVD burning, but the quality would not be great.

I bought it sometime ago and it is very nice. I haven't been able to figure out the Slideshow Director yet.

Me too! My gallery is all done with SSP and Director. Easy to use once you figure it out.
