Over the weekend I shot an engagement session in Santa Monica Pier, but I felt like it was too crowded. I like the photos to be more intimate...more romantic. I felt like all the people were too distracting, but the couple really wanted the photos taken there.

What do you think? I know you will give me your honest opinions!

All feedback is appreciated! Also, what do you think about my blog?

Nataly,

Those look really nice to me. I don't find the people distracting. To me they add to the image. Love the one of them sitting in the grass from the back. Also love the footprints in the sand.

Nice job,

I are doing good! One note: your logo is very distracting on images. Try to add a border around a picture and put your logo there.

Thanks to both of you for the feedback!

I think they look great! The people in the distant add interest and do not detract (If one of them stuck their face in your camera, it might be different story!). Its not really a place for an intimate setting - i.e. I would expect it to be a busy place. A little nook off in the corner somewhere is different.

Good Job Nat. I also love the footprints in the sand - very nice composiiton. I don't know if you meant that the people were distracting when you look at the image, or if they are distracting to you and you couple when you are shooting. If it's when you are shooting, I can relate. It's hard to focus when everyone is watching. I am assuming and hoping that it just comes with experience. If you meant in the photos, I don't think they are distracting at all.
