Wow, I really felt a strong connection to the Liptons. Mom is really into photography and the whole family has amazing dimples. They were relaxed and pleasant. What a dream shoot. Oh, and mom likes The Lemonheads, too... Cool to boot!

What a cute family! Man, you weren't kidding about the dimples! Mom's are GREAT!!! She's so cute. Moms are not supposed to be cuter than the kids. Hmmm. Well, the kids are pretty cute too, and then the dad has the dimples as well. What an adoarable family.
That said, I think you have too many blurry indoor pictures. And it seems to me it was too cold and windy to do the sunset beach shots. Red noses are not attractive, and combined with the wind, I don't know, if it were me, I wouldn't really like those very much. Maybe if they were black and white so the red noses aren't a problem. The morning shots seem better, for a while, but then the red noses come back. You can certainly see the progression when the kids get cold and cranky. At least, that's what it looks like.
I think in general we don't want to get the sense that the kids got cranky when we do a shoot like this. On the other hand, it's honest. I don't know -- what do you guys think?
Anyway, with those critiques, I think you also have some really cool and creative shots in here -- lots of fun stuff too -- tickling and cute smiles. Looks like a really fun family. Thanks for posting because I have a beach shoot coming up and I'm nervous it's going to be too darn cold. I'll try not to be uptight about it though and just see what happens.

I see what you're saying, but you can't control the weather. If it rains during a wedding and people get soaked, you still document it, right? This was the family's weekend and that's what they paid me to capture. I thought the red noses were cute.
And the blurry pictures are just my style. I drag the shutter a lot. It's not for everyone.

I liked it Shane, like you I too like to blur a bit. I love some of the angles you did. Esp. clear focus on the person in front and having people in the back.
