"Choosing to Cheat; Who Wins when Family and Work Collide," by Andy Stanley. This is a short 90 minute read about prioritizing our time where it's most important...I think it's esp. good for those of us that haven't make photography our sole job and are juggling too many things at once!

"Good to Great," by Jim Collins. You've probably heard dozens of people recommend it, but you should seriously read it for youself. Not only will it help you in your business, but it will teach you about what it means to be a trul great leader.

"The Encyclopedia of Healing Foods," my nerd book. I love reading about the natural source of vitamins, medicine and other good stuff that God gave us in good food. I also love trying to get myself and others to quit eating crap.

That's just a few for now. I'd love to hear if read any of these and find them helpful!

Oh - me too (love books) thumbsup.gif

Thanks for the reminder on the 1st one - Andy's the pastor of my church and I forget to get his books sometimes but had heard of this one - will have to lookup next weekend smile.gif

I also just got Good to Great - a slower read but I can tell it will has some great stuff in there already!

I've got the 3rd one on my list now too - my friend is an ND and always telling me about what is good and what isn't but I need to brainwash myself to Stay Away from those darn Girl Scout Cookies wink.gif

Hey Liana!

I just noticed that you responded to this...how cool that Andy is your pastor...you'll have to let him know that his book is having an impact on OSP. smile.gif

"Good to Great" really changed the way we do business. In fact, my next assignment (for my seminary class) is to create a document explaining how this book helped revolutionize the way I view myself as a leader and the way I do business. (Note: My final paper for the class is a reflection on my personal calling to the marketplace and how I am struggling, yet embracing that calling (to photography) since I previously thought I was called to full-time church work. If it's any good, I'll pass it on to you when it's finished. Key word being "finished." 51.gif )

I eat the Girl Scout cookies. I never said I always follow the rules. wink.gif
