I'm excited to pre-announce a new piece of software that I'm developing: Photo Business Plus. This software is a web-based application that will make managing your photography business easier. I'm getting pretty close to having this software ready to release to the public. The web page I've linked above gives a list of just a few of the features that you can expect in the product. More importantly, there's a form where you can enter your email address and be notified when the software is released.

I'm also going to be looking for some beta testers before too much longer, so if you think you're interested in that, sign up for the mailing list, and you'll also get the official call for beta testers.

Also, this is post 300 for me. I'm officially a love cat!

sounds good. Theres a definete need int his area, but the issue as I see it is so many do their organization so differently. Hope this works for many!

This is *very* timely for me! I've been searching for a while now for something that fits the bill, and finding that most of the stuff out there is missing something I need.
I was actually thinking about hiring someone to help me develop one of my own!

I would LOVE to beta test for you. I promise good, thorough feedback too - I've been through almost every piece of software out there, and KNOW what I'm looking for.

Will the accounting and more specifically, the tax stuff be customizable for Canadian tax laws?

Sure...I'll try to post some later today. Also, when the program officially releases there will be a fully functioning demo on the website, so you'll be able to look and play to your heart's content.




Unfortunately, that probably won't be in the initial release. Sorry.

I do, however, want to add Canadian tax functionality in a later release though. I need to research how the Canadian tax laws work.

These should give you a good idea of some of the functionality, but don't be surprised if the look changes a bit before the final release.
