John,
I think that is a great idea. The brides will love those. Maybe something to give to florists and Cake people after you do a wedding with them. Great marketing idea.
What is their website?

looks good john
spray glue? I hate the stuff but there aren't a lot of options I guess.
And finishing sprays on the images to protect them and keep them from sticking to eachother?

under images fourth picture down first column.
I used some roller tape for these. Should i be using some finishing spray on the photos? Will they stick together. I thought that was one of the benefits of using pro paper was that they dont stick to eachother. Maybe I am wrong.

Hey John,
The Jlee albums look great! I will definitely check them out.
We use Renaissance RTB Wallet books for the same purpose. They're a little pricier ($7 each...more after printing), but the brides love them. I like them b/c they're easy to put together--the pages are already sticky, so all you have to do is print your photos, peel off the paper that is covering the adhesive, and place your photo. Voila! It's done. And, they come in a little fabric sleeve. So, it's a trade-off--they take less time to make, but cost $6-7 more. Just thought I'd share since you mentioned you don't like how long the Jlee albums take.

I use Jlee a lot we offer video so we use thei leather DVD cases. the presentation is great and the box is cute and lined with silk. do these little accordians come in a box, too much to ask I know but i was just wondering. Total of 12 pics right? what do you order 2x3's?
BTW I am an avid scrapbooker, go to a scrapbooking store and pick up some double sided squares very good and eas to use, place them on the corners and one in the middle and you're off.

they come without case or stretch tie. I made the stretch tie with some elastic cord. I used some roller tape which made glueing easy. I layed out 2x3s on a 4x6 template and then just print at london drugs. The pages are 2.75' so you have to trim which is a pain. I will design different next time to have less trimming. 12 pics. I will check out there cd covers as well.

those are really cute, and I know what you are saying about them looking a bit cheap. How much do these little puppies cost? and how much more does it cost to assemble them? Also how are the prints mounted to the page? Does the book come with peel off adhesive? Thanks.

I haven't gotten these yet (have a number of other albums Jlee has) -- is the cover hard? leather?
For portrait clients, I use a little bazzill mono mini (booklet) 2.25 square with square cut out on cover and ribbon closure. They're adorable and I bought a kajillion a while back -- I think bazzill discontinued them so I got a sweet deal - about $.55 cents a piece, but just yest'y saw some still in stores for $3.99 each!
my clients have totally LOVED these! and they're so inexpensive you can send them for any occassion -- thanks, hi, birthday etc...

I believe they only cost about 6.00 but they are so worth it...it's peel and stick so very easy to put together and the studio die is great for branding...

The cover on these is hard and is paper. The paper looks nice and has a metallic sheen to it. The width is about 1/8 of an inch. They are not leather, but they do feel substantial enough for me.
I would love to see some photos of these. How many pictures can they hold. I could only find the 3x3 ones. Is the cover actually cut out or does it just protrude? How hard is the cover?
I got my basic idea off of Simplephotominute where Jules showed how she makes her mini kolo books.
http://simplephotolife.com/video/episode22.mov I liked the idea but Kolos are expensive (for a college student) and I wanted to bring the price down. These are a fun alternative.

John, if you happen down to Beau Photo in Vancouver, they have the Renaissance minis, and if I remember correctly, they are well under $10.00.

Hey John--those are the RTB Renaissance books I mentioned in my earlier post. They have the peel-off adhesive and cost $7 each, plus printing. I love them!
P.S. You can get them at
Rainier Photographic Supply in South Seattle.
