Here's a few pics from tonights E-session with Mary Ann and Joe. I went to the One Light Workshop a couple of weeks ago and tonight was my first time reall playing around with some of the stuff he taught us. It was my first time using flash (besides on camera bounced) and so its not perfect.

Thanks Kristi for the encouragement.

Your pictures are very nice! You have set a good mood with the low-light ones under the pier.
I am not too fond of the think pink keyline you have around them but that's for a different thread on design!

Keep up the good work!

I love the feel of these, the moody blue is great btw. I like them all, but I think #8 is way cool.

I am going to onelight in April... I can't wait.

What time of day were the these shot.

Looks GREAT! I'm biased as well for the bluish one--

When's their big day?

I too love the 1st and last ones. The ones under the pier are cool too! Thanks for sharing!

Cool!! I wish you could make pics bigger though. Even when I click on the thumbnail, they are still so small. But great job Ash!

Thanks guys. We shot them at sunset. The sun was sinking way faster than we expected. We had some other stuff in mind too but I'm pretty happy the way the flash stuff came out since it was our first time using it.

If you are going to One Light in April you should be so excited. I learned so much and now it is just going to come down to practicing until I can accomplish the things I pre-vizualize. Sorry you don't like the pink keyline. My website is pink and I'm just trying to tie it in. I would never print it that way-just for the blog. Maybe next time I'll do a pink frame and a white or black keyline-probably should have done that but it was like 4am when I did it and...

Please don't apologize! If it works for you, then it works! I hadn't visited your blog before I saw the pictures so I didn't have any background on them. Next time try a black border with a thinner pink keyline.

Of course, just a suggestion...it still doesn't take away from the fact that your photos rock! thumbsup.gif

Cheers!
