I bought a Mac Pro about 2 months ago and have been in heaven with the speed and ease of using it with Photoshop CS3.
Since the beginning of my CS3 use, I have however, found there to be like a "perfect storm" sequence of tools (image>Duplicate>Crop>Save As) that when executed in order would sometimes result in Photoshop choking and doing nothing but showing the little spinning wheel indefinetly. I could do nothing but force quit and reopen photoshop, losing anything unsaved.
I just brushed it off as a Beta gliche and tried to remember to save before cropping anything.
As of three days ago, I have been having BIG issues. CS3 started getting snail-like slow. And then wouldn't let me open anything from Bridge. If I was in Photoshop and tried to Browse, Photoshop would die (spinning circle for hours). I restarted Photoshop and it happened again. I un-installed CS3 and re-downloaded. It worked for about 45 minutes. Then died and wouldn't re-open. Under the gun, I opened CS2 and started trying to work there. Now it too is freezing up and not responding. I have re-booted the computer, and looked around on the adobe forums but, so far found nothing that helps.
Everything else on the computer (internet, all other applications) are a bit slower than usual but otherwise fine.
I have a support request into the Apple Pro Care cue but, so far they seem to not want to really touch any issues that have to do with CS3 as it is still beta etc.
ANY ANY help would be greatly appreciated. Or, if anyone one wants to start a "I don't have time for Photoshop to quit on me support group"...I am game for that too!
Thanks!
