this lens looks so portable, this may be the answer to our problems, and its 2.8!!

what I like about it, is that it looks so smooth and shiney.

doubt it'll cost that much.

Lmao. Oh jeez I use that all the time. I got a pre-production unit from Sigma and I generally keep thatone in my over the shoulder bag with my assistant. If you'd like to see the setup go here she might look a little uncomfortable but it's her first time shooting with me so she just needed to get to know the ropes first. Ended up being a great shoot. lol.

too funny. I just posted about the same lens in "Fun Stuff". That lens is seriously ridiculous. Can you imagine hand holding that thing?

Your definition of "portable" reminds me of that used by my friends who photograph in Africa. They take whatever huge, heavy gear they want, and pay the locals $20 per week to carry everything for them....
