Hello all. So i'm new here, ok well not all that new I just haven't introduced myself yet, but figured I'd leave a hello.
I'm an assistant to Laura Eaton Photography which is an absolute blast.
I've got an account on Deviant art which i'm relatively active on. This is where I post photos i've taken and love, though no work photo's go on there.
I have a temporary gallery up at my temporary portfolio website of some photo's i've taken while working with Laura and Paul.
I love geeking out about photo gear and techniques, my current mission is to go over basic lens theory and really understand the whys and hows of depth of field related to sensor/negative size.
Oh, and I shoot Nikon lol. That's not to say that I don't like canons or other cameras, i just like the button layout and flash system better than any other i've found.

Heh, yes i've no doubt that canon will catch up with the flash my bet is that the 5d successor is going to be an absolute killer camera.
Thanks for the compilment! I'm glad you liked the Of horses and Hearts photo, I almomst didn't even post it because it was taken dusk at iso 1600 and noisey as heck. But it worked out, which certainly makes me happy
