I picked up this great book from Amazon about branding - see the link here. It's all about branding, going beyond just a mark to put on your products and really discusses how everything you do, how you look, how you present yourself, how you speak, it all develops your brand. It has real world examples and is really inspirational in finding a branding style that fits your true self. A great read that I would recommend to any woman with a career (it has great thoughts in there for everybody, but is just geared towards women).

Enjoy!

Cool book, I'll have to check it out. Last night at the PUG everyone was saying how cool it was that my hot pink high heels matched my website. That's exactly why I bought them. It's all about branding right? ha! I've started wearing them now when I meet with brides!

This is part of the message of the book - your branding only begins with your colors and logo and such. It's an extension of yourself and your personality and your style.

I think this book would be especially good for someone who's struggling with the idea of branding. Instead of focusing on the messy side of you, figure out a way to make it part of your brand. For example, people have turned an attitude that alone would have been considered overwhelmingly rude or seemingly boring and made it part of their brand. Put it together in the whole package and somehow it works.

Let me know what you think about it, brandi. I hope everyone finds it as enlightening as I did. My reading time is sparse these days, so anything that keeps my attention had got to have some useful information.

And I sent you a pm about the playdate. Let me know what days are good for you!
