When we got the call a couple weeks ago to be one of nine featured photographers on Microsoft's website, I about fell out of my chair. Especially since Denis Reggie and I are the only wedding photographers out of the nine.

Hey, did you get the email from J when he was at our Pictage group in Seattle? Great website Chris! We all were ooing and awwing! It looks AWESOME!

It was pretty crazy b/c one of my moms in my January workshop happened to be working at Microsoft with their photo people. She was only there for a few more weeks b/c she was pregnant. But she mentioned the Pro Photo part of Microsoft, and said she was going to send our name on to people.

She emailed me a guy's name and I responded. He called and said that three people had told him to talk to us within the last two or three days. Said he'd heard we were the next up and coming studio...what do you say to that!! Totally shocked and thrown off!

Later on, Jeff Jochum at Pictage told me that he had passed our name on. So there's two of the people, but I don't know who the other is.

It's just so encouraging to hear that people are saying good things about you when you don't even know it. That's the part that makes me speechless...



Thanks Rachel, can't wait to catch up at WPPI. Save a window of time for me.
