Due to worsening Michigan economy I have decided to start advertising in Chicago area.
Chicago is about 3.5 – 4 hours of pretty comfortable drive away. I am planning to start advertising around July-August, which leaves me with 4 months to get everything ready.
There are few issues I like some help with. Obviously the initial consultation will be an issue. I would like to avoid traveling for each one of them. Should I include some extra points in my contract? How to deal with payments? What about the website, Should I add some items that would help handling out-state client? One thing I don’t wont to do is to charge travel fees. I wont keep my prices competitive.
If you have any experience in that area or you are from Chicago I would really appreciate your advice.
