i'm about to buy one .. that or the 50 1.2. i'm going for it today or tomorrow.

I am just hoping that I get it before Friday so that I can give it a little test run at a wedding on Saturday, or I could just go with Ryan's theory and try to shoot everything with it.

I got it from B&H, so it is the MarkII.

Let me know when you get yours Nicole. We can go out and shoot blurry shots together for a few days. It might hurry up the learning curve.

my ups guy thinks i am a nut. i always leave him notes when i'm not around.

i ended up getting the 50 1.2. now i am completely broke but i'm soo happy. that counts for something right!? haha

yeah this definitely is changing the way i spend my extra cash. i don't have anything to sell. i saved up for equipment but this lens wasn't on the list. haha! now i have to save up every penny for the rest of the equipment.

we are going to columbus, ohio to visit our friends and their new baby tomorrow. she was the main reason i had to get the lens today! what a perfect first test shoot .. on a super sweet 2 week old baby. i'm so excited.

Impulse buying an f1.2?? It wasn't on the list?? I had this one on the list for a while, but I was able to shoot with one last week, so I was pretty much hooked.

I guess if we don't like them (haha) we could always trade.
