Okay so I had a afternoon wedding today. Before the ceremony I scrolled through my pictures on my Canon 1D Mark IIN and all of the pictures from earlier that day are gone. I took a ton of the bride when I got there before she got dressed. They are ALL GONE!!! What do I do? I haven't done anything with the card. It is still in my camera. The pictures that I took of her getting ready and right before the ceremony are there. I don't understand. I didn't reformat the card or anything. Can someone PLEASE help me.

Download photorescue. you can try it for free to see what it can salvage from the card. Once you know it does the job it is worth every penny.
Good luck

You might even see that when you run cards through it, there are images that you didn't know were lost.

Thanks. I am about to download that right now. Will it take me through the steps?

How did you make out with recovery?

Are you viewing the files from the camera, and if you are, perhaps a new folder was created after you hit the 9999 mark.
