Hello everyone, first want to say this is a wonderful forum and thank you all for being so nice and posting such great info.

I'm still more of a lurker than poster but wanted to share our first wedding slideshows. We just photographed these 2 weeks ago and post processing was a breeze with some of the tips I learned at DJ's workshop at Brooks earlier this month. The main photographer was awesome and let us shoot whatever we wanted and even gave us time with the couples to compose our own shots too.

We're pretty new to the business and in a really exciting time now because our inquiries have taken off after our site redesign and adding the slideshow links. I'll probably be around asking a lot more questions about this biz as we grow.

Thanks for looking!

I just watched Anna + Bryan's show. Beautiful work. What a wonderful opportunity this photographer gave you. The colors in the pre-ceremony images are amazing.

Truly beautiful images from Anna & Bryan and Kathy & Anton's weddings! How wonderful to be part of their special days!

What a great opportunity the main photographer gave you. I really enjoyed seeing the slideshows and your new website looks terrific! Way to go!

Those are some really nice photos. Were you guys 2nd shooters at the wedding?

My only suggestion is to do a tighter job time the photos with the tempo of the music. The photos feel like they are just placed along side the music without interacting with it. If you adjust the timing so the photos are fading in and out in with the tempo of the music you'll notice a far more powerful slide show. Try experimenting with the transition options, and mix it up a bit. Don't sell your self short with bad timing , your work is very nice and with a bit more time editing the slide show timing you and your clients will be amazed at what you see (and hear). smile.gif

Thanks everyone for the compliments on our work. Yes we were very lucky to 2nd shoot for such beautiful events and people. The photographer was actually OUR wedding photographer last summer smile.gif

Steven, you're right. I usually try custom timing because the templates are so fast but we wanted to post these quickly, I'll have to go back when I have time and tweak it.

I think I meant to post this in the 'wedding pics' forum as I wanted to share our photos more than the *slideshow* itself...it surely is not anything *special* in that respect..lol
