Any one here use them???
I have a proof book from willow books (the birch book) thatis on order, i hope ot have it next week and I was thinking of adding the graphi studio line of albums as another choice for my clients.
The two books (willow "birch" proof book) and the graphi albums will compliment one another... I think....
I am waiting to have my questions answered from the sales dept there, as I am confused about the HUGE files they want for the album production, design and printing...

Haven't used them, but I have seen their product via another photographer in town... The product is ok, but not something that blows me out of the water.... The only thing that might set it apart from the competition would be the options for the type of paper that you can choose to use for the album itself. One of the options is similiar to the feel of a watercolor paper, which is pretty cool. You can order sample books to get an idea of the feel of the different available materials, but I think even the samples are pretty pricey....
I guess that wasn't a great review, but that's been my experience with the books....

I've been thinking about using GraphiStudio too. I haven't seen the books in person, though, so I'm having a hard time committing to paying for a sample.
Does anyone know how these compare to White Glove books?

Hi, i use Graphi and firstly the samples are free and extensive even including a cool briefcase to carrry them all in. Secondly the products are top draw quality I am considering offering nothing else when I move to my new site www.loveandbride.com. they only thing i would say is dont bother with local reps simply ring Italy direct they are a pleasure to deal with.
cheers

Well Nathan, actually that was a pretty good review! What albums are you guys using primarily? There was so much going on when we were up there that it just didnt register in my ageing head.

where the GRAPHI SUCKS thread when we need it???
I haven't used them, but it seems their quality is good but customer service is, rather lacking. How many are still waiting on their kits?

They are wonderful

They sent us chocolate truffles for Christmas!

Have you noticed the date this thread was posted? From a year ago. There are many old threads getting ressurected!
And Mike, Nathan and Amber actually just received theirs the other day. I'll let them talk about their experience.

Joy, duh, am I a dufus or what! I have really been watching the dates since the OSP resurrection, and this one slipped right past me. But, since we are talking albums, we are now taking numbers for those that want to share their album experiences!!!

Graphi Rocks!! All of my clients love their albums, and I have had nothing but good experiences. I have heard some complaints about local reps, but my rep on the east coast Michele is AWESOME. Emails are answered in minutes not hours, and she is always available for a phone call if you ask her.
Make sure to check out those pocket books too, they have been a hit with both clients and can be used as a marketing tool.
In my opinion you cannot go wrong with them!

We had the Graphi free sample that was pretty cool but we wanted something with our own pictures in it. So, we ordered one of our couples a Graphi and got a sample of our own. It looks GREAT and I am very pleased with it. Our couple LOVES their book and says they are really happy they went with this option instead of the other kind of album they were considering.
Their deals on parent albums and little tiny books are outstanding. Other companies could really learn from their example with THAT.

They are awesome. The best out there (among a bunch of excellent options). Love their service, the quality, options, and products. Since I added them to my lineup is all my brides want.

Anybody know what's going on with their 2007 Pricing?

I have used Graphi for 3 different clients. I really like the books, but if you look in the center where the image is folded, there is discoloration. I have been told that photographic paper is not intended to be folded and makes this unsightly breakdown in the emulsion.
If that is not an issue for you, then the books are great.
The problems I have had with customer service are that no one in the US can help you. They tell you to email Italy and then it takes DAYS to get a response. I questioned my rep in the US and she told me that "you have to understand that they are in Europe and are just not in a hurry like we are here". That is not good enough for me. It really frustrates me that I have to call Italy to find out what is going on with my book.
Having had my "experiences" with them, my brides still love the book and want it.
If I didn't have my sample album (I got a duplicate of a bride's book and the mini books), I probably would not offer them due to the difficult customer service issues.
I feel like I sound like Negative Nellie but I wanted to share my thoughts!

LOVE THE ALBUMS! the service needs improving - it looks like they got VERY busy in 2006 with their price breaks....
You need to watch your order to make sure they input it correctly, and dealing direct with Italy is better than your local rep. They did a couple mistakes this last year, but were great in making it up for us.
We have booked weddings just on the bride seeing the album. We use the 9.5 x 13" in our upper two packages with a "regular" flushmount in our lower package. Most of the brides want to see how they can book the package with the Graphi. Their parent albums and 4x6 books are incredible.
We went through our 2006 weddings and put a "best of 2006" together and it has really helped us in our marketing.
You can see the show here.
We are waiting to see what they will do with their 2007 pricing. We may have to change our prices if they don't do something to compare to their 50% campaign last year, but we will continue to offer them.

LOVE Graphi's albums and so do our brides. Depsite their rep for poor customer service, our rep Mike Lucas here in Canada has been fantastic and helpful in every way! Go for it!
