Very often I could hear that we must know the market we are targeting. So, the question is how do you get to know it? You can't invite it to dinner and ask questions. :-) So, what are the market research strategies for wedding photographers?

A great place to start s with the US Census. It's a few years late, but you can look into information about your target demographic. It will show the average age couple are getting married, the average income of the age group, nationality, hobbies, all sorts of random information. It can be a pain to navigate through, but it is a great starting point, and it's free.
