I have a sunset wedding tomorrow in Sarasota, FL (3-4 hours drive for me). The ceremony starts at 7:30 and sunset is at 8:06. I've done sunset weddings on the east side of FL (No direct sun) but this is my first west coast of FL with a real sunset.
I'm a little nervous. Worried about the possibility of having to shot into the sun. Also the bride is very detailed oriented. Gave me a 2 page "must have shots" list. Most of it I would do anyway but it's so long... My wife is my assistant and we use 2-way radios with an earpiece. The plan is to have her in the background with the list making sure I don't miss anything.
I hate the night before a wedding. So many things going through my head.
Wish me luck everyone. I'll post some of the shots when I get back on Saturday (staying overnight).

Alan,
I'm sure you'll do great! And just to let ya know, my best/favorite sunset shot was taken by accident (I didn't have time to think and readjust, and just took the shot!).

Have fun during this weekend!

You'll be fine, Alan. Just have fun, and the results will show accordingly!

Great Shot! Funny, I'm really looking forward to the shoot because it's a sunset wedding and yet nervous at the same time.
Thanks for the encouragement guys.

Alan,
Sunset beach weddings on Florida's West Coast will soon become so routine for you, you could do them in your sleep! Just use the sun to your advantage. A huge bonus to these types of weddings is that you can basically circle around the entire ceremony to get any angle/shot that you want! Have fun with it . . . you'll be fine. I have a similar wedding tomorrow in Naples. I'll let you know how it turns out.

Thanks Brian.
I do like the freedom you have on a beach. Thanks and good luck with your shoot in Naples.
