What are the best AA batteries to use in your flash (SB800)? Preferrably rechargeables.

I use the ones from Battery Space

They rock & are pretty dang inexpensive as well.

If you don't use recgargables... get the ones from Costco... They are great and sooo cheap!

I think Duracell Procell batteries are the best - they last forever.
I order mine online through Battery Shack.

Rayovac IC3 15 minute batteries, and charger. They are super, and acually fully recharge in 15 mins. Long lasting, and the works. Not that easy to find these days, but you can get them on Amazon.

Been usning them for about 3yrs now, as they're perfect.

I use the ones Chris mentioned from battery space. Nimh's recycle a lot faster than regular Akaline's...almost twice as fast on my flashes. They also don't have a memory issue like the old Nicads. And you can feel better knowing your helping out the environment by not dumping a bunch of alkaline's every weekend.

Powerex batteries are the best that I've found. They cause the flash to recycle much quicker than alkalines. Coupled with an external battery pack like the Canon CP-E2 with the 550EX or 580EX....
