Full Version: A visit to Santa Barbara
OpenSourcePhoto > Who We Are :-) > All about You :-)
Floyd
My wife and I will be taking a short vacation in Pismo Beach next week to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary (May 7). Of course, we love Santa Barbara visiting at least once a year, and we'll probably spend a couple days wandering the town.

My question goes out to the local yokels (you know who you are). Where are the bomb-diggity places to eat for you? Specifically for:

1. grub
2. nice lunch
3. nice dinner

We've come to develop favorites for ourselves, but that has prevented us from venturing out to new places. All types of cuisine are considered....we just like to eat (although you couldn't tell just by looking at us). tongue.gif

Thanks guys!

...oops....Mod, please move this topic to "Latest News". sorry.

Here are a few ideas....

"Your Place" Tai food...incredible.
"Palazzio" Italian....really good.
"Cold Springs Tavern" Really nice place (despite being a tavern). It's up in the mountains and a bit expensive, but the food and atmosphere are great.
"Little Alex's" good Mexican
"DJ's" He'll make whatever you want and for most part the candy bowl is usually pretty good (when Tim's not around._

Those are a few ideas.....

I llllllove Pad Thai Noodles!!!!

Our wedding reception was catered by a local Thai restaurant that we still frequent to this day. We've gotten to know the owner fairly well, and most of the staff knows us by name. MMMMMMMMM Pad Thai!!!

Here's a secret...we'd been dating for 9 years (high school sweethearts) before we got married. Ruth has been the biggest blessing in my life, and I thank God for every day that we can spend together.

Like Filipino foods? Heck yeah....I even cook some. tongue.gif
